Deep Tissue Massage

Massage specific to a certain area, working into the deeper layers of muscle and fascia below the skin surface with slow specific techniques. Deep tissue massage usually focuses on a specific problem, such as chronic muscle pain, injury rehabilitation, RSI, lower back pain, postural problems or sports concerns (shin splints).

Remedial Massage

Combining relaxation and easing of general tightness and muscle fatigue. Remedial massage incorporates the assessment and treatment of muscle dysfunction which usually presents as restricted movement, injuries or tension in the body.

Pregnancy/Convalescent Massage

A massage suited for pregnant women, who cannot lie on their stomach, or those who are recovering from injury and for whom moving around on the table is not recommended. The client is positioned on their side which allows access to most parts of the body without having to more frequently. For pregnant women, pressure is tailored to accommodate your hanging body needs and certain areas and oils avoided to prevent inducing labour.

Relaxation Massage

A general massage to relax you into a subconscious “alpha zone” to promote endorphin release, improve the bodies healing process, improve circulation, help rejuvenate at a cellular level and to help minimise any stress you have been holding onto.

Sports Massage

Light and stimulating massage which has physiological and psychological benefits. Designed for people preparing for physical activity or recovery from exercise. It is not a  substitute for warming up.

Facial Massage

Massage of the facial muscles and clearing of sinuses. This uses specific oils that will help skin conditions and help to relieve headaches. Quite often the muscles of the face and neck are forgotten but are under constant strain with daily life, a facial massage will help to alleviate this strain for more optimal functioning.
